Jikiden Reiki Reiju Kai gathering. June 14, 2011. We received Reiju from Jikiden Reiki Shihan Mari Okazaki, participated in the Reiki Kokan candle ceremony developed by Dr. Hayashi, then did Reiki Mawashi as a group.

HolisticVancouver Monthly Healing Circle. June 2, 2011. Topic: Crystal Energy Healing Configuration with special guest host Kerry Gullins. We learned how to clear and enhance the natural energy of crystals using the power of Intention and Reiki before learning a specific crystal layout taught to Kerry by his teacher Maci Ruka, who was a Maori Spiritual Elder from New Zealand. Then we used the crystal layout to each give and receive Reiki mini-sessions in a group setting.

HolisticVancouver Monthly Healing Circle. May 5, 2011. Topic: Authenticity. We are all multifaceted beings. However, as well-intentioned practitioners, we sometimes try to hide the parts of ourselves that are not congruent with our practice, in the interest of appearing 'professional,' or 'spiritual,' or even 'healthy.' This circle was about finding those places where we have 'compartmentalized' our lives, seeing the value in our inconsistencies, and bringing them all back into the whole, so we can really 'walk our talk' on a daily basis. Then we each gave and received Reiki mini-sessions in a group setting.

We discussed Usui's recommendations on reciting the Reiki Principles and how that practice could affect a Reiki session and our lives in general. Then did a Japanese meditation which included the Reiki Principles before doing mini-sessions on each other as a group.

HolisticVancouver Monthly Healing Circle. Feb 5, 2009. Topic: Introduction to Reiki: We listened to the Reiki story, talked about what Reiki is, what it does, and what it feels like, then did a meditation before doing mini-sessions on each other as a group.

The HolisticVancouver Monthly Healing Circle. July 2, 2007. Topic: An Introduction to Reiki. This circle was open to all levels of Reiki as well as those who had not been attuned. We got an empowerment, did a meditation, listened to "The Reiki Story", and gave each other mini-sessions.
