About 300 people marched with her for the last 30 km to the rally at the Legislature building, where over 3000 people gathered to hear speeches on salmon farming practices. On the steps of the Legislature building, MP Fin Donnelly explained his private member's bill, which calls for an amendment to the Fisheries Act that requires all commercial fish farming be carried out in closed containment pens within five years (see second photo). The bill was inspired by B.C. Grade 10 student Thea Block, who spoke after Donnelly.
